CAROL BENTLEY directs and assists creative teams in productions that have included SPAMALOT at the Hollywood Bowl and for 3D Theatricals, DIRTY ROTTON SCOUNDRELS for Music Theater West, and THE CALICO BUFFALO (NYMF Best Of Show winner), WITH THIS LOVE for Alvin Ailey, and productions at Paper Mill Playhouse, North Shore Music Theater, Music Theatre of Wichita, and assorted Pre-Broadway workshops.

 

Carol graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Mary's College of California, and is now an adjunct professor at both Rider University and Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is an active dance judge, and has choreographed for emerging vocal artists and for Camp Broadway.

 

As a performer, Carol has worked on Broadway, in films, commercials, videos, and print. Credits include Monty Python’s SPAMALOT (Assistant Dance Captain), WONDERFUL TOWN, FOLLIES (Astaire Award nom. For Best Female Dancer), SWING! (principal, original cast), ON THE TOWN (Dance Captain), JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (Dance Captain), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, WEST SIDE STORY (Velma), A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Ghost of Future u/s), and the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular.

 

Film credits include Disney’s ENCHANTED and a featured cameo in the Vanessa Williams film DANCE WITH ME. Television credits include Guiding Light, the Today Show, Star Search, and appearances as a New York Knicks City Dancer; commercials have included Intel, Listerine, and Toyota.
